Before you pay or meet
- Inspect the item and confirm the seller is authorised to sell it. Meet in a safe public place where practical, and tell someone where you are going.
- For property and vehicles, independently verify ownership, identity, documents and any agent's authority before paying. Consider qualified local advice.
- Agree the currency, total price, condition, delivery and return arrangements in writing. Do not rely on unusually low prices or pressure to pay immediately.
- Never share passwords, one-time codes or full card details. ZUGA support will not ask for your account password or a payment to release money from ZUGA escrow.
- Keep payment and conversation records. For suspected fraud, contact your payment provider promptly and report to appropriate local authorities.
Prohibited listings and activity
- Illegal goods or services, stolen items, counterfeit products, forged documents, scams and offers that infringe intellectual property rights.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, illegal drugs, controlled substances and prescription medicines. Do not list regulated goods that ZUGA is not equipped to verify or lawfully facilitate.
- Sexual exploitation, trafficking, sexual services, abusive or hateful material, and any content exploiting or endangering children.
- Personal data, account credentials, financial-account access, malware and tools or services offered for unlawful intrusion or fraud.
- Protected wildlife, prohibited animal products, dangerous recalled products, and goods that applicable law forbids in the listing or destination market.
- Deceptive employment offers, recruitment-payment scams, discriminatory listings that violate applicable law, pyramid schemes and misleading investment promises.
Accurate offers and responsible selling
Use your own accurate item photos or images you are entitled to use. Clearly identify illustrative images, including AI-generated images, where they do not show the actual item. Do not pass an illustration off as a photograph of the item for sale. State condition, defects, ownership or licensing restrictions, and actual availability. AI checks are assistance and do not mean every listing has been inspected or approved by a person.
Report a listing, account or rights issue
Use Help & contact to send the listing or store URL, what is wrong, and relevant evidence. For an intellectual-property complaint, identify the protected work, your relationship to the rights owner, the content at issue and a way to contact you. Do not send passwords, payment card details or unnecessary sensitive documents. We assess reports and may request clarification, restrict content or accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests. If you believe a restriction was mistaken, contact support to request review.
ZUGA support is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services in your location.
